TiNDLE chicken

TiNDLE chicken is a plant-based alternative to traditional chicken meat that is designed to replicate the taste, texture, and appearance of real chicken. As a foodie who is open to trying new things, I was excited to try Tindle Chicken and see how it compared to the real thing. 

TiNDLE was started up two years ago by founders Andre Menezes and Timo Recker. They have swept the world with their chicken made with plants. One of the secrets behind why TiNDLE taste like chicken is their Lipi™ plant-based fats. Last month five products were launched to be sold in Morrisons and Mighty Plants.

I attended the launch party in April and received a PR box to test out the products myself for review. The PR box was full of recipe cards and their current five products. 

The first product I cooked up was the burger, it quickly heated up over a frying pan.

First, I was impressed by the taste of TiNDLE chicken. It had a savoury flavour that was like real chicken, and it was well-seasoned without being too salty or overpowering. The texture of the chicken was also very good – it had a nice chewy bite that felt satisfying in my mouth, without feeling rubbery or artificial. 

The batter is well seasoned with flavours, it tastes exactly like chicken.  The next product I cooked was popcorn chicken coated in a sticky sauce. Again, the popcorn chicken was packed full of flavour and was a good protein to add to my health bowl. 

One thing I really appreciated about TiNDLE chicken is that it cooks up very similarly to real chicken. I was able to use it in a variety of recipes, from stir-fries to burgers, and it held up well in each dish. I also appreciated that it has a relatively short ingredient list, with no artificial flavours or preservatives. 

Another thing I liked about TiNDLE chicken is that it is very versatile. Whether you’re a vegetarian, vegan, or just looking to reduce your meat consumption, Tindle chicken is a great option. It’s high in protein, low in fat, and has a relatively low environmental footprint compared to traditional chicken.
