Bridgit’s Bakery
I first found B’s Bakery also known as Bridgit’s bakery on google, searching for afternoon tea parties over 6 years ago. The afternoon tea experience on one of the iconic double-decker route masters looked so much fun. They specialise in afternoon tea with a French twist. Bridgit’s bakery is located in the quieter streets of Covent Garden, along with Chandos place. From the outside peering in you see beautiful décor of birdcages and florals.

Just take a look at the menu and you can see the high fashion style illustrations gracing the walls of B’s Bakery. Turning up one Sunday afternoon, we managed to get seats surrounded us was parties and people coming in for cake and teas. A private hen party was going downstairs near the toilets. The full afternoon tea experience can set you back from £30 but we weren’t that hungry, so opted for the absolute temptation section. Tea or coffee and a cake for £9.80. Besides cakes, there is a good range of light lunch options available, breakfasts, Croque’s, sandwiches, egg cocotte, and salads.
The counter displays an array of colourful delectable delights, none were written down on the menu but I suspect it changes by season. Sunny was my chosen one a round sphere filled with passionfruit mousse and a coconut biscuit base. If you tasted solero ice cream that’s how the mousse was like. Tea’s are brewed in floral china tea ware and there is a good tea selection on the menu. Alternative milk can be swapped without an additional charge.

Brigit’s bakery is the ideal spot for a laze around, beautiful surroundings and central London. Prices are very reasonable and the cakes are a decent size. I would certainly try to book the afternoon tea experiences one day.
