Hidden along the arches of Charing Cross road, the Charing Cross hotel is a traditional railway hotel, with beautifully Victorian and art Deco features.
Once inside you can oversee the railway station I questioned the porter “how comes it’s not noisy?” The hotel seems sound proof from the inside; it offered a tranquil retreat from the busy working life of mine.
The hotel threw a special champagne tasting event, for professionals, press and bloggers to blind taste champagne and English sparking wine. The brands amongst the flight tasting were, Pommery, Moet, Jenkyn Place and many others.
Being the social media addicts we were, our conversations were broadcasted live over the projector. “Which is which?” Many of us was confused and thrown off by the trail. #6 and #8 were my favourites. #fansoffizz was the twitterr hastag for the night.
Exquisite canapes were served throughout the night, and I got to meet other bloggers, the staffs from the hotel were super friendly.
