In a vibrant celebration of two decades of collaboration, Louis Vuitton and renowned Japanese artist Takashi Murakami have unveiled a captivating pop-up store in London’s Soho district. This exclusive event, from January 9 to February 9, 2025, offers a unique blend of art, fashion, and immersive experiences.
A Look Back: The 2003 Collaboration
The partnership between Louis Vuitton and Murakami began in 2003 under the creative direction of Marc Jacobs. Murakami’s innovative designs, such as the “Monogram Multicolour” and “Cherry Blossom” collections, infused the classic Louis Vuitton monogram with vibrant colours and playful motifs, leaving a lasting impact on the fashion world.
Reissued Designs and Exclusive Offerings

The pop-up store at 39 Brewer Street showcases a re-edition of the iconic 2003 collection, featuring over 200 new pieces, including handbags, accessories, and footwear adorned with Murakami’s signature prints. Visitors can explore the latest designs and archival pieces from the original collaboration.
Interactive Experiences: Capsule Vending Machine and Themed Café
Adding to the immersive nature of the pop-up, guests who purchase items receive a token for a Japanese-inspired vending machine, offering exclusive collectables like the Takashi Murakami Flower Go Walk portable game, limited-edition LV x Murakami stickers, and trading cards. Additionally, the on-site café serves delicate baked goods and beverages in specially designed cups and napkins featuring exclusive Louis Vuitton x Murakami designs, providing a delightful respite amidst the artistic displays.
