Cheese flan was one of my favourite school lunches, when I was younger. Without a doubt when it was on menu, I wouldn’t hesitate to pick over the other things. I’ve been craving it often, but cannot find it on sale in the shops.
Using the whole sheet to cover the 25-inch pan, I preheated the oven. Placed the tart pan and shortcrust to bake for 10 minutes.
Take handfuls of cheddar cheese and scatter it in the pan.
Whisk three eggs, seasoned to taste and pour over the cheese.
Then pour half a pot double cream over the mixture, bake for 40 minutes than enjoy.
