Afternoon Tea – Bea’s of Bloomsbury

Kim and I was dying to have some afternoon tea, we was suppose to go to the Ritz but both on a tight budget. I suggested Bea’s of Bloomsbury, they opened their second branch One Change, St Pauls. I booked a table for 2 at 1pm on a Sunday overlooking the city surroundings.

Extract from their website on their Afternoon Tea Offering

Full afternoon tea for £15.00 per person, which includes savoury baguettes, a proper scone, clotted cream and jam, one of our signature cupcakes, a mini Valrhona brownie, a mini Belgian Blondie, and a mini meringue and of course a pot of Jing tea.

The cakes are absolutely D E L I C O U S, the lemon marshmallow melts into your mouth with that lemon zest taste. The cupcakes are the best I’ve tried so far, moist, airy and fluffy and the butter cream flavoured without too much butter. The scones wasn’t too heavy and went well with the clotted cream and jam. LOVE THIS PLACE.
