Rich, creamy ooo so garlicky ramen – Shoryu Ramen

Ooooh Shoryu Ramen, you made a comeback. The first visit left me right in the middle, the experience wasn’t bad nor wow.

This time round, they stepped the game up, visiting the regent street branch. We were very lucky to get seats for 5 on a Saturday night. I rave highly about the hirata buns, and told my friends it was a must.

I made a mistake not trying the Dracula tonkotsu, this time I ordered it. The garlic dominated and had bags of flavour. The rich, creamy, fatty broth, with dark blood looking drops of balsamic vinegar satisfied the taste buds, and marinated the thin slices of plain pork topped with half boiled egg. It was simply heaven, thanks Shoryu for stepping it up, it was very memorable.
